Patrick William O'Neill

Patrick William O’Neill, age 58 of Newark, DE, passed away on Saturday, November 1, 2025, in Accent Care Hospice at Christiana Hospital. He was the husband of Dana Lynn Thomas O’Neill, with whom he shared 18 years of marriage.

Born 1967 in West Chester, PA, Patrick was the son of the late Robert O’Neill and the late Joyce Collier Hall.

Patrick attended Johnson & Wales University in Rhode Island, where he earned his associate’s degree in culinary arts.

He worked as a chef for 20 years at Kendal Crosslands and after he continued to work in food service at Christiana Hospital.

Patrick was a talented guitarist and enjoyed playing the blues. He was a loyal fan to all Philadelphia sports teams. A good Friday night for Patrick and Dana was to stay in and watch Dateline together. He was very outgoing and could start up a conversation with anyone. He liked to meet new people but also loved spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife, Dana, Patrick is survived by his two sons, Chase and Patrick; his brother, Tom; his sister, Kathy; as well as his two dogs, Nelson and Bertha.

A visitation will be held from 10:00AM to 11:00AM on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at Kuzo Funeral Home, 250 W. State Street, Kennett Square, PA 19348. His memorial service will begin at 11:00AM.
