Randall Lee Thompson, age 51, of Champions Gate, FL passed away peacefully at his residence on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 after a courageous 5 year battle with cancer. He was the childhood sweetheart, beloved friend and husband to Dori Thompson for over 35 years.
Born and raised in West Grove, PA, he was the son of the late Paul and Stella Thompson.
Randall attended Avon Grove High School. He worked for 18 years at Sonoco Paper Products in Downingtownand worked his final years at his favorite vacation destination, Walt Disney World as Custodial Trainer for new employees.
Randall will be deeply missed by his three children, MatthewThompson of West Grove, PA, Lydia Thompson of Galveston, TX andJesse Thompson of Oxford, PA,one grandchild Xavier Thompson, and remembered by his devoted brothers Don Thompson of Dover, DE, Roger Thompson of West Grove, PA, sister Wanda Shrewbrooks of Middletown, DE and brother-in-law, Gordon Trottier of Kissimmee, FL, along with countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know him.
Randall touched the lives of many people with his smile and generosity andmaintained his trademark sense of humor all the way to the end with his political views, and the bleeping weather updates.
Family and friends are invitedto visit from 2:00 to 3:00 pmon Saturday, October 17th, 2015, at the Foulk & GriecoFuneral Home, 200 Rosehill Rd, West Grove, Pa 19390. A memorial service celebrating his life will follow at 3:00.Burial will be private.
