Robert F. McDonaugh

Robert F. McDonaugh, known as ‘Little Bob/Uncle Bob’, age 79 of Landenberg, Pennsylvania, passed away at his home on March 16, 2026. He was the life  partner of Linda Kay Rosenbaum for 35 years prior to her passing in 2023.

Born November 6, 1946 in West Chester, Pennsylvania, Bob was the son of the late John J. and Edythe C. (Fulton) McDonaugh.

Bob was a graduate of Unionville High School Class of 1964. Following graduation Bob served in the United States Army where he was stationed at the Pentagon. 

Bob enjoyed traveling, fishing, and working at the Nauti-Goose, where he worked for 14 years. Bob was a beloved fixture of the Nauti-Goose and was known to all as ‘Uncle Bob’. If ever a situation needed smoothing over with a guest, all was quickly resolved once Bob got involved. He was impossible not to love.

Bob was a gentle and kind man who liked making those around him happy. He will be deeply missed by all who were lucky enough to know him.

Bob was preceded in death by his siblings, John J. McDonaugh, Richard “Freckle’ McDonaugh, William E. McDonaugh, James R. McDonaugh, Lucia M. Couden and Mary E. “Betty” Burnett.

Bob is survived by Linda’s daughter, Kim Jester and her children, Zachary & Samantha, and many nieces and nephews.

You are invited to visit with Bob’s family on Thursday, March 26, 2026 from 10:00AM to 11:00AM at Foulk Funeral Home, 200 Rose Hill Road, West Grove, PA 19390. Services will begin at 11:00AM and interment will follow at Union Hill Cemetery.

A luncheon to celebrate Bob’s life will be held after interment from 1:30PM to 5:30PM at the Nauti-Goose, 200 W. Cherry Street, North East, Maryland 21901.

In lieu of flowers, Bob’s family kindly requests donations to be made to Meals on Wheels of Chester County, 404 Willowbrook Lane, West Chester, PA 19382.
