Robin Joy Taylor

Robin Joy Taylor, age 69, of West Grove, PA, passed away on Monday, October 6, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. 

Robin was born on November 11, 1955 in Tyrone, PA, to Shirley Pavlic and Boyd Jackson. She was a beloved daughter, sibling, mother, grandmother, and friend. She spent the first part of her career as a restaurant manager at the 41 Inn in Avondale and then started her own business as a house cleaner for nearly 30 years.

Robin was known for her humor, candor, and loyalty. She loved the beach and spent most of her summers at a campground just outside of Lewes and Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. She was a proud gardener who loved to care for the flower beds around her house and the vegetable garden in her backyard. Above all, she loved kids and spent most of her life caring for them.

Robin is survived by her children Bam Pirches, Justin Taylor and Bernie Doherty, and Damian Pirches. She also leaves behind her grandchildren Alan and Gina Stackhouse, Ryan and Jada Stackhouse, and Tatianna Fitzgerald, and was lucky to have five great-grandchildren – Rylin, Luna, Miles, Jackson, and Mya. Her siblings include Lisa Hendrickson, Woody Jackson, Denny Jackson, Jenny Stackhouse, Jeff Jackson, Doug and Julie Taylor, and Donna and Jack Osbourne. She is preceded in death by her parents, her stepfather Paul Pavlic, her sister Debby Dawson, her daughter Stephanie Pirches, and her beloved husband Jay Taylor.

Robin was the kind of person who made it abundantly clear how she felt about you. She was no-nonsense and approached each and every day with a level of sincerity and directness that made it clear she was making the most out of her life. She will be deeply missed.

You are invited to visit with Robin's family from 9:30AM to 10:30AM on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Kuzo Funeral Home, 250 W. State Street, Kennett Square, PA 19348. Robin's remembrance ceremony will begin at 10:30AM. Robin would have loved for you to send flowers for her ceremony.
