Roger Louis Ferranto

Roger Louis Ferranto, age 64 of Toughkenamon, PA, passed away at his home on April 18, 2026.

Roger was the son of John Louis Ferranto and Catherine LaFrance Ferranto.

He graduated from Kennett High School and later worked as a truck driver.

Roger had a passion for working on small engines. Even as a child, he enjoyed taking things apart to learn how to put them back together. If someone had a problem with a mower, weed eater, leaf blower, or anything that needed small engine repair, they would bring it to Roger to fix. Roger spent much of his time in his garage completing various projects. He also greatly enjoyed the outdoors and appreciated nature.

Roger’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of Roger’s friends that stopped by his home to visit him in his final days. It meant a great deal to Roger and his family.

Roger is survived by his life partner for over 30 years, Wanda Underwood; his son, John Louis Ferranto (Megan); his sister, Mary Ann Hollingsworth (Merrill); half-sister, Janet Parker; and his grandchildren, Roger and Madison Ferranto.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
