Ronald E. Winchester

Ronald E. Winchester, age 63 of Kennett Square, PA, passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at his home.

Born 1961 in West Chester, PA, Ron was the son of Charles Thomas Winchester and Elizabeth Johnson Winchester.

Ron graduated from Kennett High School in 1979. He went on to work for many years in the mushroom industry with Kennett Square Specialties (KSS).

Ron was a member of the Italian American Club for over 40 years.

His interests included activities like hunting, fishing, and woodworking. He loved football, baseball and all Philadelphia sports teams. Ron had an extensive gun collection of which he was very proud.

Ron was a gentle soul with a kind heart. He liked taking care of others and making people happy. He got along with everyone, and you would be hard pressed to find someone who didn’t enjoy his company. Most of all, he was an amazing family man. He was so proud of his sons, Michael and Gregory. All who were lucky enough to know Ron will miss him deeply.

Ron is survived by his sons, Michael and Gregory Winchester; his significant other, Nancy Tice; two brothers, John and Jeff Winchester; sister, Susan Winchester; four nieces; as well as many, many, friends.
