Rosalie A. Carter, age 100, of West Grove, PA, passed away on May 12, 2026.
She was born on January 18, 1926, to Fanny (mother) and Joseph Bannon(father) in New Jersey. She is predeceased by her six siblings: Joseph, Winston, Melvin, Charles, Johnny, and Milred Bantum.
Rosalie is survived by her two sons William (Marcea) and Ronald (Carol)Carter; grandchildren Tracey, Stephanie, Ronald Jr., and Kimberly Carter; great grandchildren Quinten Carter-Washington, Allie, Matthew, Nicholas, and Aysten Carter, and McKenna Kitchens; great, great grandchild Kayleigh Carter-Washington; and good friends Thomas and Roberta Storer.
Rosalie was a nurse’s aide at Pocopson Home for many years before moving to Luther House.
She was a warm, loving person with many interests, including piano, reading, knitting, and
plants, to name a few. After an unfortunate accident where she was unable to walk, she lived at
Twin Pines Healthcare Center where the staff took excellent care of her throughout the past 5½ years.
Funeral services will be private for family and friends only.
