Sheena Marie Kuntz Hackett, age 34 of Landenberg, PA, passed away September 3, 2018. Sheena was living with her parents in temporary housing in Greenville, DE while their house was being rebuilt due to a fire.
A longtime resident of Kennett Square, PA, Sheena was an incredibly talented and creative young lady. She loved arts and crafts, particularly drawing and she wrote beautiful poems and stories. Sheena loved spending time with her cousins, friends and family especially at the familys summer cottage on the Susquehanna River.
Sheenas brother, Cody Kuntz, would like to share the following about his beloved sister:
My sister lived in her own world, somewhere between the flowers and the stars. With a free spirit and mind as open as the ocean she kept a full heart and a smile upon her face through years of constant pain and suffering. She fought so hard and for so long that we can at least take solace in the fact that her fight is now finally over. And though when people die they take a piece of us with them I can rest easy knowing I will always have her memory to help grant me strength. You will be sorrowfully missed Sheena Marie, but not with frowns and tearful eyes but with warmth and laughter. I will love you forever and never forget you, not one day
Sheena was sadly predeceased by her baby, Lennon Stone Martin. She is survived by her parents, Patrick and Lisa Kuntz; her brother, Cody Kuntz; her grandfather, Joseph Engart; her aunts, Renee Mills, Lana Cornett, and Leslie McGuire; her uncle, Joseph Engart III and her niece, Eisley Fallon Kuntz.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Sheenas family from 11:00AM to 1:00PM on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home, 250 West State Street, Kennett Square, PA 19348. A Celebration of Sheenas Life will follow at 1:00PM. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, Sheenas wishes would have been to donate to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. Donations may be mailed in Sheenas honor to the JDRFs Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter, 555 Croton Road, Suite 111, King of Prussia, PA, 19406.
