Stephanie A. Celii

Stephanie A. Celii, 57, of West Chester, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 8, 2026, surrounded by her loving family after suffering with ongoing health issues. 

Born in 1968 in West Chester, PA, Stephanie was the daughter of the late John Celii Jr. of Downingtown and Patricia (Cloud) Celii of Kennett Square. She is survived by her devoted mother, Pat; her sister, Jacqui; brother-in-law, Mark; and her beloved niece, Ashley Friday. Stephanie was deeply loved by her extended family including Aunt, Fran Hopkins; Aunt, Mary Lou and Uncle Jeff Laudenslager, as well as her cousins Valerie Hopkins, Kenny Hopkins, Kevin Hopkins, Scott Laudenslager, and Kristin Laudenslager Nieder, all of whom were a tremendous source of love and support throughout her life. She is also survived by her lifelong friend and partner, Tom Csernica, and her loving stepchildren, Gavin and Grace Snyder.

Stephanie graduated from Harcum College with a degree in business and pursued several entrepreneurial ventures throughout her life. Although she spent many years living in San Jose, California, Pennsylvania always remained close to her heart. In recent years, she cherished spending winters in her beautiful home in Naples, Florida, alongside her mother and her beloved golden retrievers, Callie, Oliver, and Olivia, who were truly her greatest joy in life. Stephanie could often be found strolling down Fifth Avenue in Naples with her dogs, quickly becoming a familiar and friendly face to so many. Her love for animals extended beyond her dogs to her rescue horses and two miniature ponies, Bonnie and Clyde.

Stephanie will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, kind heart, and love of life’s simple pleasures. She enjoyed cooking, shopping, decorating, listening to sounds from the 70s and 80s rock bands, and watching movies with those she loved. Most of all, she will be remembered for the warmth, laughter, and love she brought to her family and friends.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation and memorial service on Saturday, June 6, from 10:00 to 11:30 AM at Kuzo Funeral Home, 250 W State St., Kennett Square, Pa. 19348.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be mailed in Stephanie's memory to the BVSPCA, 1212 Phoenixville Pike, West Chester, PA 19380 or Standardbred Retirement Foundation, STF PO BOX 312, Millstone Twp. N.J. 08535 or any rescue organization of your choice as she was an avid animal lover.
