Una A. Hipkins, age 68, of Little River, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2025. Born on February 4, 1957, in Detroit, Michigan, she was the beloved daughter of the late William Fletcher and Dessie Wynn Fletcher.
Una was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Arthur C. Hipkins, Jr.; her sons, Arthur C. Hipkins III and Nathen Allen Hipkins (wife Jessica); and her cherished granddaughters, Marissa Jade Hipkins and Amiyah Hipkins.
A woman who embraced life fully, Una loved to travel—her most recent adventure being an Alaskan cruise. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially time spent at family gatherings. Her warmth and generosity made every get-together special.
She was a faithful member of Today’s Harvest Church in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, where she joyfully served as a church greeter, welcoming others with the same kindness and love she extended to all aspects of her life. Una’s legacy of love, laughter, and hospitality will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
