Virginia “Ginny” Brown, 87 years old, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, friend, passed away peacefully on October 8th, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.
Born in Philadelphia in 1938, Ginny was known for her warmth, kindness, and the quiet strength she carried through life. She touched the lives of many with her generous spirit, quick wit, and unwavering love for her family and friends.
Ginny spent much of her life in Media and Glen Mills, Pennsylvania, where she worked as a secretary, and volunteered at the local voting polls. Her passion for making jewelry, knitting, playing cards, and helping others was evident in everything she did.
She is survived by her daughter Stacie Snow, Carlton Snow SIL, her grandchildren Justin Snow, Ashley Detwiler, Peter Marker Jr, her siblings, William Johnson, Maria Johnson SIL, and was preceded in death by her spouse Joseph Brown, her parents William E Johnson, Florence Johnson, and son Peter Marker.
All who knew and loved Ginny are welcome to celebrate her life on Saturday, November 1st, 2025, from 2:00-4:30 PM at The White Dog Café 981 Baltimore Pike Glen Mills PA 19342. Please RSVP to Stacie at 610-656-4176 by October 20th , 2025
