VIRGINIA “GINGER” T. ROBINSON, 80 of Palm Beach Gardens, FL formerly of Media, PA died peacefully at her son’s home in Kennett Square, PA on Monday, September 14,2015.
Ginger was born January 5,1935 in Upper Darby, PA to the late Harold and Edna (Kunkle) Tomlinson.
After raising her three children in Media, PA she moved to Florida 34 years ago.
Ginger was a long time Sales Representative at JC Penney’s (retired). Ginger enjoyed going out to movies and lunch, Christmas’s in PA, watching football and golf, reading, taking her naps and keeping up with all her friends, cousins and all her relatives. She especially enjoyed her times with her grandchildren and great-grandson.
Survivors include her son, Ken Robinson of Kennett Square, PA and two daughters, Janet Preman (Ed) of Hobe Sound, FL and Susan Gordon of Aston, PA; two sisters, Joyce Herb (Bob) of Drexel Hill, PA and Arlene Bell (Dan) of Ocean City, NJ and one brother, Glenn Tomlinson (Pat) of Springfield, PA. Her grandchildren Steven, Timmy, Megan and Brittany; and her great-grandson Mickey. And many loved nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to a luncheon in honor of Ginger, Monday September 21, from 11-2PM, at D’Ignazio’s Towne House 117 Veterans Square, Media, PA 19063. A time of sharing stories of Ginger’s life will occur at 1PM during the gathering.
Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
