"Doug"

W. Douglas Peacock, affectionately known as Doug, age 59 of Kennett Square, PA, passed away Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Seasons Hospice.

Born 1961 in Kennett Square, PA, Doug was the son of the late Wallace Peacock and the late Mary Pyle Peacock.

For a time, Doug worked as a sales consultant for his father at PRP Technical Services in Kennett Square.

In his free time, Doug enjoyed exploring flea markets. He liked to attend events like Comic-Con and was passionate about toys and comic books. Doug was also a huge wrestling fan.

Doug had a great love for all animals. You would often find Doug feeding the birds, cats and any hungry wildlife around his home.

Doug was a natural caretaker and all who knew him will miss his gentle soul.

Doug is survived by his girlfriend and partner, Melissa A. Black; his childhood friends, Brad and Joe; his cat, Blackie; as well as his plethora of friends from the flea market, buffet, and the toy/comic book world.

Services for Doug will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Dougs memory may be made to the Faithful Friends Animal Society, a Delaware no kill animal shelter. Donations may be mailed to Faithful Friends, 12 Germay Drive, Wilmington, Delaware 19804.
