  7. Dear Barbara and family
You are in our thoughts and prayers in the loss of Sam. Sam was the best neighbor anyone could have. He often would wave and smile as we mowed our lawns. Whenever we needed help whether it was to upright our xmas tree for my mom when we were in Florida on our vacation or when our mower broke and he brought his over and just left it in middle of our lawn because we wouldn’t ask to borrow his mower and he saw us push mowing 2 acres in middle of summer or when a gigantic snapping turtle was crossing road stopping traffic and he picked it up by tail and put in field. Sam was a kind man and we will miss him

  11. A beloved brother-in-law who seemed more like a brother to me. He always had a smile for everyone and was willing to pitch in and help out all who needed it.He was a caring person who was always there for me or anyone else and was genuinely concerned , He had to put up with alot from his sister-in-laws, but he was a good sport.I remember Sam and Bobby trying to teach me how to ice skate on Kennett Pond when I was younger. They were persistent and I finally made it; some of the best fun with them Iever had.I will miss his sunny disposition, his wit and humour, but most of all him standing in the open doorway with his arms outstretched waiting for his hug. A ray of sunshine left the earth when Sam departed but I know he’s laughing up in heaven and talking to anyone who will listen. Rest well my man; you deserve it.

  12. I loved my Uncle Sam. He will surely be missed. I will never forget Uncle Sam spending time with a little girl, when he could have been spending time with adults who where probably, more interesting at that time. A good man was Uncle Sam. He was always honest, nice, loving and willing to offer a helping hand whenever possible.
One of many memories that I have is that, I’ll never forget Uncle Sam arriving for a visit and seeing that I was home alone with my car jacked up and all four tires off the car. Being a good uncle and a father himself, he insisted on helping me rotate the tires. Not many men on vacation would have offered their services.
I am so grateful that I was able to have one more memory with Uncle Sam not to long ago. I will never forget his smile nor his laughter. He will surely be missed by all of his loved ones here on earth. Great joy is to be had because Heaven just gained another wonderful angel.
