just learned of Aleene’s passing; I’ve been a friend and colleague of Pete’s for 20+ years. I lost my mom, Agnes, also a WWII Army nurse, back a few years ago at 96. Nurses make great moms. Your family is in my prayers. – Tom McCormick
Andrea and Don and family, my sympathy to you all. Joyce
Peter, Joe, Andrea and Nancy,
I have so many memories of Aleene. We lived life together; through the good times and bad. Dinners, family reunions, and even her love for Blue birds are just a few of the memories that come to mind. I don’t have adequate words to express how much I cherished her friendship. She is dearly missed.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family.

Aleene was a great friend and neighbor. We raised our children together on Chambers, what fun we had. The stories she told me about women in labor were hilarious. I send my love to you guys!
