  1. Tottie, It’s been years since we last spoke or saw each other, I now live in Colorado so I don’t often hear what’s happening in Kennett. Your name came up in conversation and I was told of Gary’s passing. I am deeply sorry for your loss. Please know I am thinking of you. I have alot of fond memories of the both of you. You were a great neighbor to my Dad. I’m sorry I did not know this sooner. But know my prayers are with you and your brother Richard.

  3. Dear Tootie – I was so saddened to hear of Gary’s passing and my apologies for being unable to attend his services. I have been having problems also and at this point cannot drive. I’ve thought of you two often and have so many happy memories of our golf outings and ending up at your place afterwards. We were fortunate to have such good friends. I pray for you and know what it is to lose your soul mate. I can only imagine what those that have passed are doing together now. Love, Bobbie Frick

  8. Gary was a wonderful person and loved by all. He persevered with a smile for many years of suffering, but if you asked him how he was doing, he would just say “Wonderful, Wonderful”. His wife Tootie always stood by his side, and Gary would always say that Tootie was the best nurse in the world. He will truly be missed, and GOD Bless the both of them. Love….Couz-Terry

  11. I read with sorrow the passing of my old friend Gary, and hope Tootie and family will accept my heartfelt condolences. When we lived on Lafayette, Gary lived just 3 doors down, on the corner of Magnolia, and we did things together, including fishing in the ponds past the dump. Caught fish, too – brought mine home & ate them. This was all due to Gary’s generosity, as he lent me a rod & showed me what to do. Generosity was a big part of Gary – playing ball or fishing, he was always looking to help and encourage. All Best Wishes, Eddie Stoddard

  14. Dear Tootie and Family, We send our deepest sympathies from afar and and hope memories of Gary’s life bring joy in this time of sorrow. Like David Meadows, I remember playing Little League baseball with Gary, and he was usually on the winning team. We also fished for ‘sunnies’ in a local pond as kids. 🐠 We were blessed to have grown up together in the Kennett area and Gary was even more blessed to have you, Tootie, as his bride, and all of you as family. With love, Steve and Deborah Loeffler, Ka’anapali Maui
