Edward Michael Lafferty, Sr.

Edward Michael Lafferty, Jr. age 73 of Kaolin, PA died Tuesday, July 28, 2026 after an extended illness.

Born in 1952 in Wilmington, DE, he was the son of the late Edward Michael Lafferty, Sr. And H. Ruth (Marvel) Lafferty. He is survived by a child, Nole Lafferty and granddaughter Sophia Sergent. He was predeceased by a son, Edward Michael Lafferty, III. In addition, he had 4 sisters, Karen Hughes, Colleen Hyde, and Lynn (Kevin) Kalmbach. He was predeceased by his sister Lois Lafferty.

Ed graduated from Kennett High School in 1970.

You are invited to join Ed’s family on Thursday, August 6, 2026 from 10:00AM to 11:00AM at Kuzo Funeral Home, 250 W. State Street, Kennett Square, PA 19348. His Celebration of Life will begin at 11:00AM and interment will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be offered to the Parkinson’s Foundation.
